Correct me if i'm wrong, but I was really thought that the old NeoOffice writer showed had the names of fonts displayed in their respective fonts. So that then you were choosing a new font, you could see what it looked like even before choosing it.
Is this gone now? It sure seems to be missing from my fancy new aqua version! Otherwise it looks great, and is seems a bit faster to load than the old version as well.
They are still there, they are just turned off by default as previewing the fonts forces Mac OS X to load most of the fonts on your system and if you have hundreds of fonts, that can really use up a lot of system memory.
To enable font preview, select the Tools -> Options menu. Click on View and check the "Show preview of fonts" checkbox and click on the OK button.
