I've been looking at NeoOffice for some time, but - up until this version - I've been having trouble opening an Excel spreadsheet I use a lot. It's now running in Calc and looks great!
Before I post a bug, I just wanted to check that I understood the expected behaviour:- if I hover over a cell that contains a note, I should see the note and it will disappear when I move the cursor off the cell? This is not happening here. Neither do I see any "tips" about what the Toolbar icons are when I hover over them.
I think I should be able to see the notes when I hover - is that correct?
(I can see the notes permanently when I select "Show Note". )

Jim, Welcome to NeoOffice.
Sorry no one was able to answer your question before you found the answer. The Developers are at the OOo Conference 2006 in Lyon France this week and have been busy getting ready the last week.
I'm glad you were able to find your solution.
Most of the answers provided on these forums are found by other users who search all the resources available ( Searching the Forums, Neo Help, NeoWiki, OOo Documentation and such).
There is a LOT of information out there - sometimes it's just hard to know where to look.
Hope you find using NeoOffice 2.0 as GREAT an experience as many others have! Maybe we will have the answer to your next question "right on the tips of our tounges" (Phrase )
