Yeah I don't find it that horridly surprising. It's standard. First the reinvent the launcher...then again...and the installer...and again...and again...
It's kind of like how I think there very well may be more open source editors than open source developers

Does something ... Great and no one cares. I saw the messages over on Porting List and did not bother to take the time to point out your work. BIG sigh.
I think your work is GREAT. A simple solution to a simple problem. and No JCA agreement required. 
Did I say THANK YOU for having such a Wonder-filled Wiki?
