Ok. I revised the English version to spell out both the bookmark method and the set references method, translated the Hyperlink section, and added a link to a How-To on Cross references that is far more extensive than our current wiki article.
It doubtless needs more proofreading, but I'm too tired to do that well tonight. |

Thanks for the link, Lorinda. I added it in the Fr page, plus a link to a Fr How-to.

I'm working on the "Cross References in a Master Document" article. I ran across this sentence:
Imaginons que le document maître contienne un sous-document qui décrit un plan de travail, une sorte de table des matières, mais plus détaillé.
I don't know what a "plan de travail" is in this context. (Word Reference says it is a "countertop," which doesn't make much sense in this context). Presumably it is a list of links similar to a table of contents, but I'm really not coming up with a good English equivalent. Any suggestions??
Edit: For the moment I'm using "abstract," but I don't think that's an exact parallel. |

I'd say "outlines", because "un plan de travail" is a general plan which gives the main features of your work, but doesn't give the details.
I hope it's clear.
Thanks for translating.
Jacqueline
P.S. "countertop" is "un plan de travail" in a ……… kitchen |

Thanks so much, Jacqueline! As soon as I read "outlines" in your post I went "Of course!" It may be a few days before I get back to that article, but I'll shift "abstract" to "outline" when I do.

TPT.
There weren't any grammatical or spelling errors. I did re-word a few phrases, based on my sense of style.
There were also a few places where there the final step was missing, so I made some additions.
Thanks for translating this one, Jacqueline. I didn't realize we still had some "French only" articles left.

Thanks Lorinda.
I wrote the French version on 11/04 and did not translate it immediately. Afterwards, I forgot it totally
