Installed Aqua Beta 3...tried installing patch 11, and patch 12 both fail at the end with the "try again" message.
Is there a way to get some more debugging output from the patch installs? |

Yes. After the installer has the error, don't close the installer. Instead, select the Window -> Installer Log menu item. This will bring up a dialog. Select the "Show Everything" option in the dialog and paste the last 20 lines here so that we can take a look.

From your output, the instatller has not run the initial machine check script. When you open the installer, do you ever see the dialog that says:
"This package contains a program that determines if your software can be installed"
If so, you are pressing the "Continue" button, right?

joemikeb, the image you inserted links to a location on your hard drive. You just can't do that. In order to show us an image, you need to upload it to a web server and link to the location of the picture on the web server.
[url=imageshack.us]ImageShack[/url] offers free image hosting. After you've uploaded the image to their servers, paste the "Direct link to image" between your two [img] [/img] tags. |
