Oh yes, the language feeling (le sentiment de la langue). Not easy in a foreign language.

I'm thinking about that.

Fr version: Convertir une Chaîne de Texte en Nombre dans Calc

English translation is in progress.
Is "Converting Text String to Number in Calc" a right title?

Jacqueline,

"Converting a Text String to a Number in Calc" is more correct in American English.

EN, what a funny language! Rolling Eyes

I have just a few very minor Suggestions:

"Converting a text to a number" to
"Converting text to a number" - Text is an item, "a text" is a ??? (need help from some EN wordsmiths... Wink )

"Removing the cells which contain texts" to
"Removing the cells which contain text" - (who knew that text(s) was plural? Rolling Eyes )

Thanks to Jacqueline, and all the others, for the tremendous efforts converting Wiki articles into other languages. The Wiki Elves are ... AMAZING in their efforts! Laughing

Philip ( has a hard enough time with just English (EN, not GB, AU, or any other forms Wink ) )

True, My bad, Embarassed

I was talking about the Section titles below, not the Wiki Page article title. (am I being more clear now? )
I agree that "a Text String" is correct in the Wiki Page title.

Much clearer now, thanks.

I agree with your suggestions; moreover, I saw another occurence of texts in the first line after the first section title ...

Usually I polish Jacqueline's English translations, at her request. But I've been swamped the last few days. It will probably be Wednesday before I can get around to doing so. If somebody wants to beat me to it I won't object!

Thanks, again, Jacqueline, for doing so many of the French to English translations; as much as I enjoy doing them, it would take me forever to get them all, and some of the math related ones involve concepts I don't understand even in English!
