With the exception of Philip's resources listed above, I've added all the links that had not yet been turned into articles to the New Articles Needed page.
Pardon the green, but I've been using it to make edits to my posts above, to make it easier to pick up after I left off as I've been catching up on these tips.
FYI, I have now shifted to putting my "tips to add to the wiki" on the New Articles needed page, rather than posting them here, since it saves us a step. Not everyone can do so (or may choose not to), so I presume we'll keep using this thread, too.

Did you have a particular page in mind to which we should add the references/sites you listed above?
Were you thinking of the Support page, or somewhere else?
Lorinda
Lorinda, I did not have an exact page in mind, but it looks like http://neowiki.neooffice.org/index.php/NeoOffice_Support "How Do I Find Information on Other Usage Questions?" has links that are similar:
OOoforum.com, Guides, and more.
Maybe ... this wiki page could be split off to it's own page - ADDITIONAL Information / RESOURCES?
We could consolidate similar items that may be scattered about in the Fora and Wiki?
We are getting so many Resource requests that maybe this would be a good idea??
One place for these important reference links, as we find them??
Thanks Roy,
And I translated it here in French.
I called that page "Divers Problèmes de Polices" (Various Fonts Problems) because there are already some articles about fonts problems in the section Fonts & Languages of the page NeoOffice Tips and Hints.

Thanks so much to both of you!
On the stub page that I created for "Problems with Fonts," there is a list of related articles (from the Tips and Hints Page) you might want to add.
When I get a chance, I'll translate the French article and include it on that page. (Or, Jacqueline, if you have started it already, you can paste it in on that page)
I've already added a link to "Obtenir Helvetica et Courier Oblique" in the first section.
I've put a link to "Divers Problèmes de Polices" in the Fonts & Languages section on the French page "NeoOffice Trucs et astuces". It is easier for an user to find it at that location.
Of course Lorinda, I can translate but maybe… not this evening!

Philip ( Up to our ... eyes in Resources!! )
I think most of the links currently on the support page should stay there, since we ask folks to consult them before posting here (not that very many people seem to follow that advice.....although then again if they find their answers there we wouldn't know since they wouldn't post here....)
But I that list is quickly becoming unrealistically long.
So I think that a "Resources" Page makes sense. (Maybe repeating the "other resources links" on the support page???--or at least referencing back to that one.)
Probably also a separate page for Add-ons (NoMu, dMaths, Extensions, Iconic, etc.).

What do the other wiki elves think?
Looks like the wiki elves need time to think
A "Resources" page is a good idea. Not that easy to set up: Philip gives a huuuuuge ton of info . I think that a link from the NeoOffice support page would be cool.
Question: does the "How do I find information on other usage questions?" section must remain on the "NeoOffice support" page? Or is it replaced with a link to the "Resources" page?

I think the section needs to stay, since we ask readers to try those resources before posting thread here, but maybe with a shorter list. Then add a link to the Resources page.
I'm willing to work on this, but it will be a few days--maybe even a week or more--before I can get to it. I'm singing in a concert tomorrow, and I'm pushing a deadline on a work related project.

Lorinda
Opps, I did not intend that the current page be removed
- maybe just shorted/revised (with KEY points).
In my mind I thought about "several" NEW resources pages
1. Documentation resources:
- - OpenOffice.org 2.x User Guide, OOoAuthors.org OpenOffice 2.x Guide
- - Peter's NeoOffice guide
2. Forums / Web Logs / Authors:
- Trinity, NeoWiki, OpenOffice.org Support portal,
- - OOoforum.com, OOomacros.org, OOextra.org, ... <edit'ed>
- - "A Conceptual Guide to NeoOffice 2 for Mac OS X" R. Gabriel Gurley <edit #2>
- - OOo books available via www.lulu.com <edit #2>
3. Training / Tutorials / and such:
- Visual tutorials:
4. Other Resources:
- Clipart, Templates, OxygenOffice templates
5. Miscellaneous: (doesn't fit into the others? )
. more Suggestions?
I know this might be a bother - having several pages,
but this would allow pages to be updated in the future - without ending up with another very long page.
It's a "future" planning thang!
Many Thanks to Lorinda for her offer, and to the other Wiki Elves.
I see this as a project that can be started in the near future and ... and continue to grow into the future.

I added the paths to the user's pref folders (autotext, templates, autocorrection, databases, etc) in the French article Récupérer les
Configurations Personnelles dans un Dossier de Préférences Endommagé
and the same paths are translated in comments in the English page. (Philip's request…)
I've not added it to New Articles needed yet, as I'm not sure if it should be a new article or if it should be added to an existing one. When I've got time I'll do some poking around in the wiki to figure that out.
