I've never purchased a song from iTunes myself and listen to vinyl recordings I've made and I still buy the majority of all my music on vinyl (damn you prex for taking all my money!!).

Steve has had some articles published but this may be the first where it's Published on the front of the Apple.com page.
Guess he's is getting tired at all the flack that Apple Inc is getting for iTunes DRM (France, Zune, EU, some guys in small town in USA, etc ), WHEN Apple is not the cause!
Let's put the BLAME where it belongs: the Music industry!
At last Steve is getting interested in selling music without DRM
I've bought only 2 albums on iTunes so far (and downloaded almost every free single each week ).
After emusic, 2 music stores in France are selling music without DRM (mostly indie music) which is pretty cool
And EMI seems to be ready to start selling music without DRM
But the RIAA understood from Steve's open letter that Apple wishes to license Fairplay
