G'day,
Firstly, Thank you to all concerned in making this application work. Now that the "find file" is so Mac-like I'm migrating all my Apple works files.
But, a small question with hopefully a simple answer. I am now making invoices for my business (farming) copying the styles of Appleworks. Courtesy of your Wiki help. So far so good, But:
How do I NOT show the zero amounts in a line in a table inserted into writer? Example: 10 line table, all of the line results have a formula. (Qty X cost = Dollars. (hopefully !!) ) If nothing entered in that line the result is $0.00. Whilst technically correct, the Invoice looks awfull. If the $0.00 result is deleted the formula goes too. How do I hide the zero amount while still keeping the formula?

In advance, Thank you.

Yes it's possible to hide the "zero"s.

select cells where you have your formulas, right-click on that selection (or ctrl-click) and choose Number format...
In the "Format code" field type something like
Code:
0;-0;" "
This will display your positive number as usual number, negative number with a "-" sign in front of it and 0 as nothing.
You can play a lot with Format number. For example you could add a "$" sign, or add different colours. For example in your table try this code
Code:
[GREEN]0 $;[RED] -0 $;" "

Have a look at NeoOffice help for more tips.

Many Thanks Valter,
You have opened up a whole new world of cell formatting to me.

The more I find out about NeoOffice the more I like.

Best wishes.
