I installed the latest Java update from Apple, which gave me:
java version "1.5.0_07"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_07-164)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_07-87, mixed mode, sharing)
Thus far it works just dandy with NeoOffice. Between that and the latest patches (13 + 14), I find that NeoOffice launches quicker. Otherwise I note no differences. I have not replicated the crashing on quit on my computer, so I don't know what's up with that.
