I have a password protected spreadsheet that is fully editable under my account, but read-only under my wife's account. Is there a way to allow either account to edit the document? Both accounts are administrators on the Mac.

(This is my second post on the topic. The first never showed up. If there's a significant time delay between submitting a post and its appearance, I apologize for my impatience.)

Select the file in the Finder, then press Cmd-I to get the Infos window.

Click on "Ownership & Permissions > Details". Click on the little yellow padlock (I hope it's the correct English name Embarassed ) to unlock it, then click "Group > admin" and choose "Read & write" in the Access menu.

It should work.
