Hello Everybody!

I'm looking for the subject because I'd like to start a Hungarian mirror.

So, I've got questions:
- Is it possible to mirror via rsync?
- How can I make it work? (I'd like some kind of cookbook about mirroring).

Thx. mP

We use rsync for our mirrors to copy all of the 118 installers, language packs, and patch installers. If you have an Apache web server, feel confortable executing simple commands in a terminal, and setup a cron job in your "crontab" file (type "man crontab" for more details about this), send me a Private Message with your e-mail address and we will send you an e-mail with the rsync command and steps to get your mirror in our rotating list of mirrors once you set it up.

Warning: each mirror uses at least 100 GB of bandwidth each day (roughly 3.0 terabytes per month) so make sure that you have adequate bandwidth to avoid paying bandwidth overage charges to your web hosting company.
