|
I've been meaning to ask about this some time. If I:
-start Neo by opening a template and
-open a saved document before making any changes to the template
then the "untitled" window containing the template disappears. This also happens to the blank "untitled" document that appears when starting Neo "normally," or if I create a new "untitled" document by choosing File>New>Templates and Documents and choosing a template.
I'm guessing this may be one of OpenOffice.org's "features," but I thought I would mention it in case this is not be design.
I did search the OOo forums, but did not find any references to this issue.

Yeah it's one of OOo's features...if there are no unsaved modifications to the first untitled documetn opened for a module and a document of the same type for that module is opened it reuses the "unused" document window and replaces it with the contents of the document.

Thanks for verifying that for me, ed. I'll just have to learn to hit "save" before I hit "open." |
