Well, that "sensible timezone" lasted all of about a day? The Trinity Forums are back to GMT +5 (what is that, Yekaterinburg and Islamabad?) again Smile Is it intentional?

Hmm...I'll have to check up on that one. The time change may have screwed up the machine clock and require a reboot before it gets reset.

If the default time zones are wrong, I think you should be able to change them on a per-user basis. Check the "Your Account" link under the Trinity blx in the upper left. Click on "Your Info". In there is a field called "Forum Timezones" that you can use to change the time offset. I don't think it changes automatically with daylight savings (or whatever it is) or if you're in Arizona, Indiana, etc.

Does the rest of the world even have this messed up idea of a time change?

Thanks; I missed that when signing up (or the timezone seemed "reasonable" to me and I didn't look).

No, but I can play with that twice a year--much easier than doing math on every post.... Smile

Yes, at least most of it. Some countries don't change, and some change at other times than we do in the US....
