For a while T-Mobile had a $19.99 plan with 60 anytime minutes and 500 night/weekend minutes. It sucked.

they didn't raise my voice, but text messages went up about 50% a couple of months ago. That extra five cents per really adds up Sad

You mean that it was a commercial failure/disaster ?

While cheap for voice, my previous plan charged for each message (Cingular plan pre-iPhone). The price raise for SMS was pre-iPhone too, I think a few months before. I guess it was a commercial failure in a way since after I threw on the iPhone data subscription plan my monthly bill might actually drop slightly Smile

Also, for any intrigued web/CSS gurus out there, Apple posted the development limitations of the iPhone:

http://developer.apple.com/iphone/designingcontent.html

Among what I thought were interesting tidbits are the 5 second javascript execution limit and the 10 MB attachment limit (it can't stream linked MP3 files?)

Apple just cut the price of the 8 GB iPhone by $200 (and discontinued the 4 GB)…

At the current rate of decline in cost;

$599 for 8GB in June - Launch
$399 for 8GB in September

the iPhone should drop to $199 by December, and you'll see a buy one get one free offer by March and by June 2008 you'll get a buy one get 4 free for the family offers!!! If you want just one (1) you should to wait for the free phone with service offers which could roll out by April of 2008.

Just a theory of mine.

Tee hee! It really is a fun little device; having something that can work with most all websites and is mobile is great. People complain about EDGE, but I have patience. Slow is better than nothing Smile

I'm hoping the theories that the iPod touch can be accessed at a low level through the same methods as the iPhone is true...that way I can get something cheaper so I don't wind up killing my phone or suddenly have it calling random people incessantly...

My goal is to replace the keyboard with a stenographic gesture language Wink
