Coming home on my electric scooter last night I got knocked off it and beaten up by half a dozen bored teens from the caravan estate up the road from me. Luckily, I was in bike gear and helmet, so while I've come away with a slightly damaged scooter and some cuts, bruises and very sore ribs, the whole experience seemed more absurd than anything else. And the thing is, it almost certainly wouldn't have happened if I rode a 'normal' petrol bike - it's like being the kid in the playground with the wrong brand of backpack.

A weird world.

Random, violent crap like that really is bullsh*t. Is this kind of behavior actually considered cool by some people?

Take care.

I'm in one piece - sore ribs, but codeine 'takes the edge off'... this is in Cambridge, England, by the way, which is not all 600-year-old fancy college buildings.

I had to look up LART, by the way - though my thoughts are turning more toward a water pistol loaded with patchouli/urine combo Cool

That is totally uncool. I'm glad the drugs are helping. The patchouli sounds like a good idea...disappearing ink might also be a nice touch in the combo Smile

We haven't had any major wars recently for all the sadistic morons to go and hurt people and get killed with the blessing of the nation. It's a Darwinian thing. When life is too easy the morons thrive.
