Jake's recent instructions on chapter styles should probably be in the wiki, but I didn't see a good page to add it to, and I don't have time to create a new page today. So I thought I'd start a thread where we can stash urls for threads that should be wiki'd.

Here's Jake's tip;

http://trinity.neooffice.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=3758

It pertains to paragraph styles, which is not explicitly stated in his answer.

(Rodrigo, were you working on a paragraph style article? Or is my memory failing me?)

(making this thread sticky —mods)

Yes, Lorinda: I stop the translations for make new articles about styles. I will take that tip and put it into the article.

Explaining styles would be like the first one (page styles)
1. What can I customize on a paragraph/character style
2. Creating a new paragraph/character style
3. Editing paragraph/character styles
4. Applying paragraph/character styles
5. Importing paragraph/character styles

or not??????????? Shocked

thie link for the current wiki article is in the above thread, as well as notes on needed changes.

Drat,

One of the mystic Wiki Elves posted this before I could get to adding it here. Shocked
They really are ... mystic, and FAST too!

grin - Really, I was "going" to do this. It's nice that this community works so well! It's a pleasure to be ... here.

I'd say this is low priority, but nonetheless a good candidate when there's time:

Leading Zeroes and paragraph numbering:

I think that the En version is ready (needs polish, of course).
Is the title "Importing HTML Tables in a Calc Document" OK ?
I'll wait for an answer from "English native speakers" before putting the page in the wiki.

Just one small correction:

"Importing HTML Tables into a Calc Document"

Oh those prepositions! Smile

It may be several days before I can "polish" it, but I'll try to remember to check on it when I have the time.

I can't quote a particular rule of grammar for my correction, I went with what "felt" right.

Sometimes in and into are interchangeable, sometimes they aren't. There's probably some variation by dialect (not just British vs. American but probably regional within each nation).

I'm not sure where my "elements of style" book is that might give me the exact rule. If I stumble across it, I'll look it up, just to satisfy my own curiosity.
