I would very much appreciate having the release dates of new versions and patches on the Release Notes page. This is one of the most useful pieces of information to have for deciding when to update software.

Even better, get this info also on the NeoOffice downloads page!
Thanks,

It has always been published on the NeoOffice home page in the News section:

Thanks for the quick reply, and the info.
Are the dates of the patches available anywhere?
It would be great to have all the release and patch dates in one place, with the Release Notes. And to have the dates of the recent patches and releases available from the downloading page.
I spend a lot of time just updating software -- anything that streamlines the process is welcome. I appreciate the frequent patches very much, but occasionally skip one when I'm busy.

Just curious, is checking the About box and comparing the number with the patch page or the wiki release notes not an effective way to determine the same info (whether you have the latest patch) in an alternate manner?

I know which patch I have. The issue is deciding whether to update, based on the content and frequency of recent updates.

You might want to subscribe to the NeoJUpdate mailing list. This list gets an e-mail with each new version or patch release and, with patch releases, a list of the bugs that have been fixed as well as any new features.
