Using 2.2.1.
In NeoOffice Writer, sometimes when I save a file (or when it's auto-saved) the position of the text within the window jumps by a couple of lines. Not reproducible, but it happened a couple of times.

No; I'll go hunt for it.
Btw, I think the issue is related to this: I now have two windows open (both in Writer), I scroll one window down until the cursor is no longer on the screen. I click on the other window; I click on the first window again, and the page jumps so as to display the cursor. The jump-on-save problem is probably the same.

This is a known bug in NeoOffice's underlying OpenOffice.org code: the document will jump back to the cursor position if the cursor is in a table when you save. Patch 1 elminates this jumping during autosave, but the bug will remain when you manually save.

No need to go hunt for it: it's available on the patch download page. |
