Sorry, but that won't happen because you need to enter the security code when you login. This is critical because without this security code requirement, our site has gotten overwhelmed by spam postings. At one point, spammers were posting several spam postings per minute.

Couldn't the same result (reducing automated spam) be achieved by placing the captcha on the message posting pages?
Please forgive me if my logic is incorrect... |

Then you would have to type it time and again... I prefer to have it at the login and be done with it.

We had something similar in place for anonymous posting, but spammers & spambots found a way around that. Registration seems to do the trick for now. The captcha at login isn't going to be able to go away, unfortunately, as spambots are able to process registration pages. Just at the login page seems to be an effective barrier for the majority of the spambots (which were posting really offensive stuff).
