I've searched and can't find the answer to these questions anywhere. I apologize because I'm sure it's in the wiki or user guide somewhere. How do you set the spell check to be able to switch the lower-case "i" to an upper-case "I"? Also, how do you set the spell checker to mark more than one space between words as incorrect? Thank you for helping! I appreciate it because I prefer to always use NeoOffice

Under Tools > AutoCorrect > Options Tab
In the [T] column near the bottom make sure "ignore double spaces" is not checked
As for making an "i" an "I" - that designation is dependent upon what your needs are:
if the first letter of a sentence is not being capitalized that feature is the first directions noted
If it is topic specific and can be defined perhaps clicking on the "Replace Tab" (found in same window for Tools > AutoCorrect) and defining a replacement will work for your situation.
