Hi All:
I can't seem to copy and paste cells from the Calc spreadsheet into Thunderbird. All formatting is lost and it basicallly looks like a mess of text when pasted.
I would like to copy and paste with all formatting in place into Thunderbird from NeoOffic Calc.
Can anyone please help me?
Thanks,
JK |

Moved to NeoOffice Support.
Can you successfully paste formatted text to Thunderbird from any other application? IIRC I think this is a Mozilla/Thunderbird bug on Mac OS X.
FWIW, I can paste formatted text from NeoOffice to Apple Mail without problems… |

You might be correct that this is a Thunderbird issue.
I will check with their group also.
Thanks,

I can almost guarantee that this is a Thunderbird issue as NeoOffice always puts both plain unformatted text and RTF formatted text flavors to the system clipboard. Apparently, Thunderbird ignores the RTF formatted text and makes use of only the plain unformatted text flavor.

Gecko has no support for styled text on the clipboard on Mac OS X (either copying out or pasting in).

So take a screen shot of the Calc sheet with Command-Shift-4 and paste the picture into T-bird. _________________ Jim Plante
