Wow. First off, it's always annoyed me that on Windows Sun's JVM adds yet another system tray icon. Reminds me of the hork that is Real, AIM, and, yes, even QuickTime on Windows.
But now Sun feels the need to hawk OOo through their Java system tray icon?
That just seems so completely and utterly lame and totally thought up by a marketing douche. Just wait and soon you'll be able to also automatically order your next ultrasparc workstation through the Windows system tray. What a revolution!
