Wow. First off, it's always annoyed me that on Windows Sun's JVM adds yet another system tray icon. Reminds me of the hork that is Real, AIM, and, yes, even QuickTime on Windows.
But now Sun feels the need to hawk OOo through their Java system tray icon?
That just seems so completely and utterly lame and totally thought up by a marketing douche. Just wait and soon you'll be able to also automatically order your next ultrasparc workstation through the Windows system tray. What a revolution!

And every 5 minutes the icon will sprout a little help balloon telling you: "Your computer would be much faster if it was an ultrasparc. Shall I order one for you?"  |

But only an UltraSparc IV. None of this Fuitjusu Sparc64 nonsense for you. Not yours!
