Hello. Thanks for a great product. I did not enjoy Open office under X11 but love neo office/j.

My question is - How do I activate the menus from the keyboard? Once I have opened the menu with the mouse I can use my keyboard for the rest of the menuig process. But how, oh how, do you open the FIle menu from the keyboard?

Ah! Mystery.
I never succeed doing it intentionally, while it happened to me, a couple of time, as a side effect of some unknown sequence.
There have been several discussions about meta keys, and Neo/J has evolved in the way it handles these, so I don't think it's still feasible any more.
But I never read a definitive statement from PLuby about this precise question : Is it possible?

Max,

I don't think it is possible as all of the menu shortcuts are "Alt+<some key>". Since most of the Mac OS X keyboard layouts use the "Alt" key as a way to access special characters, "Alt+<some key>" combinations are resolved by Mac OS X into either a dead key or a single Unicode character before they are passed to NeoJ.
