I am using neoofficeJ to create a series of RTF testbanks for a publisher.
I would really like to be able to have it number Multiple choice questions for me. The numeric part works just fine, but I also would like to be able to specify the following formatting:

1. This is a __________ question.
a. dumb
b. stupid
c. silly
d. extremely well thought out and insightful

I can't get a. b. c. etc. as an option for the second level of numbering.
Ideas?

TIA.

It's a little difficult to find Smile

Format > Numbering/Bullets > Options tab

Click on 2 in the Levels list, change Numbering to a, b, c, ...

If you want all levels to be flush left, you need to edit settings on the position tab, too...

Use tab and shift-tab to switch between levels when starting a new line while typing.

Hope this helps.
