I just received a simple Powerpoint slideshow with two buttons on the first slide: one button refers to slide 1 and the second button to slide2. Apparantly, i can't get it to work in Neooffice. Anything i can do about it?
thanks in advance,

Are the buttons hooked up to VBA macros? If so the presentation may not work as VBA compatibility is limited mostly to Excel only.

well i don't know to be honest.
does Powerpoint need VBA to jump to a specific slide when a button is pressed? if so, that's probably the reason |

PowerPoint may use VBA to do this. I don't know off the top of my head but I don't think it's a standard since custom controls within PowerPoint presentations usually need a "bit extra".
Is the presentation something you can share publicly? If so, file a bugzilla issue and attach it and we can examine what the compatibility issue is. For the most part Neo/OOo are compatible with graphics and some slide transitions, but everything beyond that is a crapshoot.
