Very new to NeoOffice Writer. I find it fairly intuitive but I'm having a problem with page breaks. I have a large document into which I've inserted a number of page breaks. I now wish to delete them so that I can reformat my document. I cannot see the page breaks nor can I figure out how to delete them. I've selected view non printing characters but page breaks do not reveal themselves. I'm assuming that if I can see them I can merely select them and hit the delete button. I'm on an Intel Mac with sys. 10.5.2. _________________ Henry |

True, you can't see them, but if you place your cursor to the left of the first character on the next page and hit Backspace, that'll delete the Page Break.
If you install Iannz Find & Replace macro from http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/hillview/OOo/ that'll let you find Page Breaks and replace them with something else in either the whole document or in a selected part of it.

The page break is visible as a thin blue line along the top of the page area following its insertion. As yoxi says, place the cursor at the start of the page and hit delete to remove it. _________________ Ray Saunders

Thank you rays and yoxi. Problem solved. The macro was a great help. Took awhile to figure out how to load it but perseverance paid off. Yes there was a thin blue line indicating page breaks. _________________ Henry |
