Hi,

In one of my Calc spreadsheet files I used the group mechanism to hide details of a number of rows. Normally there appears a column at the left with a 1 and 2 on top and a plus or minus and brackets where you can click to show or hide the details. Now this column has disappeared and I can not access my data. Also it is not possible in Data -> Outline to show the data; only Group and Autogroup are highlighted. (In other files all is OK.)

I tried all menus, but none appears to help. How can I solve this?
Did I accidentally hit some button which caused the problem?

Thanks,
John K

I managed to solve the problem by using the Time Machine of Mac OS 10.5. The file of two weeks ago still had the group info, so fortunately I could restore it combining the old an the new one.
However it is a nasty bug which I try to avoid in future.

This is likely an OOo bug, rather than Neo. I have problems with filters and filtered results disappearing or changing what gets displayed, and have evolved workarounds and recoveries for some of them.

The Calc module is buggy. For example, be careful of the LOOKUP() function; it can produce bizzarre results. And it's totally a code-base (Not Neo) bug. I think this may be fixed in a later release than the one Neo is based on. When the next upgrade of Neo comes out, you may find it working better. No guarantees, though, so check BugZilla at OOo to look for your particular poisoned function.
