|
Is there a way to create simple, sortable text lists in NeoOffice Calc for the Mac? I'm looking for something like the "create list" or "list wizard" in Excel.
Sorry for the simple question, but I can't find the answer either in help or in the forums. It seems it should be possible. Am I just searching for the wrong term?
Thanks! |

Enter the list you want to create in a range, let's say A1:A10. Copy it: Cmd-C
Go to NeoOffice > Preferences… > NeoOffice Calc > Sort Lists
Clck on the New button.
Paste your list in the Entries area: Cmd-V. Click on Add. Click OK.

Thanks for the reply, Jacqueline. Unfortunately, it's not quite what I'm looking for. I think I may have to resign myself to the fact that this particular feature isn't available yet in Calc (as far as I can tell).
I hope it will be one day; I use it quite a bit for simple lists that don't require the muscle of a database. |
