|
I'd like to find a character and replace it with a carriage return.
I clicked the regular expressions box, and it works with the "find" entry but not with the "replace with" entry in Find and Replace.
The problem I'm trying to solve is getting rid of carriage returns at the end of every line (where there should be line feeds), but not the ones legitimately at the end of paragraphs.
To do this, I can
find all empty paragraphs and replace them with some unused character,
find all carriage returns and replace them with a blank,
find all the (previously) unused characters and replace them with carriage returns.
That last one is where I'm stuck.
Or is there a better way? |
