NeoOffice 2.2.3 Patch 6 Mac OS 10.4.11
I have the formatting menu as a pallette. If the focus is on the pallette and I select Print, NeoOffice brings up the print dialog in relation to that pallette rather than the text window. Is this intended behaviour? I can't tell whether it will print the palette or not as I am currently experiencing printer problems installing an HP PhotoSmart C7280 as a network printer. |

Try to print to PDF: File > Print… > Save as PDF… , and see if you get the palette or your document. I get the document.

| Duh! I didn't think of trying that. You are quite right about what prints. It's still an odd experience, though, seeing the Print dialog coming from the Palette, and on a couple of accasions parts of the dialog have been off screen because of where the palette has been. |

This is normal behavior for Mac OS X palettes: it is attached to the front-most active window so that it is guaranteed to be visible.
