Not that most of you care about this, but to the few of you who sent me good wishes recently...

I have to go in for another kidney surgery tomorrow to remove 6 major stones in the right kidney and then I get 3 blasted out on Monday in my left - most are 6 mm. or bigger. Stent still in there.

Anyway that's the news. Many thanks to all of you who sent me good vibes through this horrendous last week.

I greatly appreciate it very much.

Very Happy

I hope the surgery goes well and you have a speedy recovery. Definitely keep us posted if you can on how things go after the surgery.

I didn't know what a stent is, but I have just Google'd it Shocked

I hope the surgery goes well (I'm sure it will!) and you recover quickly from it.

Ouch Sad! I wonder how on earth you managed to grow so many rocks in your body in the first place...

Get well soon!

Old age!

When I hit 36 years old I had a major head operation to remove a tumor the size of a grapefruit, then i was crippled for almost 2 years - in wheelchairs and bedridden and at time could not walk and feed myself, etc. That was due to polyrheumatoid arthritis/ osteoarthritis - that was almost 20 years ago, and i suffer with this disease to this day in chronic pain 24/7. (Actually started writing a book in Neo but deleted it and am working on a more lengthy article for publication at the urging of my rheumatologist. I hate writing though, even with a Ph.D.. Then I have had many serious eye operations and almost lost my vision in both eyes a few times. and many retinal detachments too. then I started kidney stones in my move to TN. Had a few balst jobs done and now this major league series of events. It has been a long hard road.

The arthritis actually stopped me at the peak of my career. I have not been able to do it for 20 years now. Hence - the K-9 scene.

Old Age Oscar!

I do pretty much watch what i eat and am mostly a vegetarian with a few slipups. Grow some of my food organically. And am trying to go back into more of a vegetarian diet /mediterranean slightly. Meat affects my arthritis. so I have tried. The new diet I just received today contradicts the other urologists diet. Go Figure, and cuts many of my normal legit foods. I am totally ticked and also lost as to how to proceed.

Old Age!

Yes - I saw that - bad news for the babies. (My wife is Chinese and I constantly tell her to watch all of the stuff she eats from there. Never listens. They have had many issues over the last few years.)

surgery done today. Rough. One more on Tuesday as it turns out!

Thanks for all the good thoughts you guys.

3rd one done. I am hurting big time and there was also a 2nd cystoscopy done too. Stent removed and huge stones being passed. The largest i have ever seen so far. Mucho blood and clots too.

three surgical procedures in 15 days has taken a toll on my body.

That's the news. Thank you all for your thoughts and kind words.

Trying to smile!

best wishes to you all. I do appreciate the correspondence during these last couple of weeks.

Thanks for the update and I am glad that they are over for you for now as well...and I hope that's the last one. I hope you get a chance to rest up, that the worst of the recovery will be over soon, and that you get back up to normal as quickly as you can Smile
