Have you read what you're linking to?

The issues you just mentioned to are fixed in OpenOffice.org 2.4.2; from that, you could have guessed that they are in fact the same vulnerabilities discussed in that thread:

I reviewed the page and the first two issues are the issues that you found that Sun fixed in OpenOffice.org 2.4.2 and we will include in NeoOffice 2.2.5 Patch 3.

The third issue only affects the stock OpenOffice.org senddoc script. Our modified script, which uses the Mac OS X "open" command to send e-mail attachments, is not affected by the third issue.

Samwise, Sorry man. I am not in the 'know' re: the technicalities of what Patrick and Ed do. I am not aware of what all gets fixed from update to update. I just tried to post what may be relevant info for the betterment of neo.

I believe, correct me if I am wrong, that https://trinity.neooffice.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=6657

this thread helped Patrick and that is why i post these things. I do not know command line or coding. I just use my macs and Neo.

Please... if this is useless stuff then please let me know and I will stop posting these finds. I do not want to be a thorn around here.

It is easier for me to keep to myself and not chime in. Doesn't bother me.

No worries. I did not know about the senddoc security hole until your post in this forum topic. The others were duplicate of the old topic, but the new link actually described what the security hole was as OpenOffice.org's site has been very thin on details. Wink
