Hi, I want to make two or more tables appear next to each other on a page. Whenever I make a table, though, I just get one that goes right across the page, which I then have to make smaller by dragging the borders. The problem is, I can no longer type anything next to this table, just underneath. The same goes for adding another table next to the first one - impossible. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance. KT.

I can think of two ways of doing this. If you want two tables side by side, you can insert a section which is formatted into two or more columns, then insert a table, follow it with a column break and then inserrt another table in the next column. Then you can insert another section break and carry on with a single column page.

Alternatively you can insert a frame in your document and insert a table within the frame. There is then a great deal of flexibility about how frames can be managed within your document.

Is this enough to get you started or do you want step by step guidance?
