|
I'm using the latest NeoOffice 2.2.5. The following is from its help file:
"Inserting line breaks in NeoOffice Calc spreadsheet cells
To insert a line break in a spreadsheet cell, press the Ctrl+Enter keys.
This will work only with the text edit cursor inside the cell, not at the input line. So first double-click the cell, then single-click at the text position where you want the line break."
But this does not work!! Pressing Ctrl+Enter keys has exactly the same effect as pressing Enter key alone, i.e. the two keys do not break the line!
Any help how can I enter two lines of text in a cell please?
Thank you. |

Instead of pressing the Ctrl+Enter keys try pressing the Command+Enter keys. The Command key is the the one to the left of the space bar with an Apple on it.
NeoOffice gets its help files directly from its underlying OpenOffice.org code. Help should say Command+Enter but the OpenOffice.org help writers have hard-coded Control instead of using their own internal standard of "if Mac OS X display Command else display Control". Ctrl+Enter is used in Windows and Linux versions of OpenOfffice.org.
Does command+Enter work?

And it works for me as well now, I didn't get what they meant by "input line" and just realized I was doing it wrong… |
