hello!
i just loated latest version with patch-6 and langue pack to new imac.
1. how i can set all automations off?
bigest problem is "list shape" automation. i need use numbers on doc, but i like order by myself when it is list or sometihing else.
2. langue pack and proofreading
program direct correctly when i wrote, but all old documets it show with redpen like; "every words is wrong"?
on settings langue is still american english, not finnish even i try change it?
Note that the language packs do not include spelling dictionaries. Language packs affect the interface language so, for example, the menus are labeled in Finnish.
If the articles I suggested do not answer your questions, please post back here and we will take it from there.
wiki is usefull, but too large for my skills in this case.
i have a lot of old documents, so it is heplfull if i can get
orders how to bring them to Neooffice. (guestion 2. in my first mail).
if you dont have time for this, i can use copy-paste method.
To set the language for documents, can you please try the following?:
Select Preferences from the NeoOffice menu, then click the disclosure triangle next to Language settings to expand that section. Next select the Languages item and set the Default languages for documents to Finnish. Make sure the box For the current document only is not checked. Select the OK button.
Does that allow you to open Finnish documents without errors ?

If narf/fran's instructions don't work for existing documents, here's a "quick and dirty" way to fix them.
Open the document in question. Select the entire document text (command-A when using the US English localization). Go to the Format menu and choose Character. Under the Font tab, set the language to the correct one. If there is a little ab in a box next to the language, spellcheck will work in that language.
If you have used styles in your document, it is better--but more time consuming--to edit each of the styles to reflect the correct language.
What format are these older documents? .odt fiiles? .doc files? something else?
