Dear Community,
i would like to export columns A to F from the current sheet into a .csv value with TAB separation. This command shall be written in a macro. I did not find a hint on 45 min search therefore i dare to ask u here for a link/hint/macro.
Thx, M
PS: Why is there no EXPORT-function in the menu for .csv - just save as?

Yes, to get CSV you'll need to do a File > Save As. You can change the separators to tabs using the "Field delimiter" row. Offhand I do not know of any direct way to save the selected rows only. If you were to write a macro probably the approach I would take is to copy the rows/columns, create a new spreadsheet document, paste them in, and then do the save. You may be able to find more help or ask if anyone's done this at the OOoMacros site;
