Bug: NeoOffice 3.0 crash when the printer is stop

I also had a one time crash after installing the patch, when I failed to click the print button for a number of seconds, but I have been unable to make it happen a second time.

Oddly, the crash didn't generate a soffice crash log. I attach the Console log and the crash dump crash log, and also a sample taken when the native print window appeared - but I'm not sure how useful this will be as this was taken on one of the occasions when I could not provoke a crash.

iBook 1.33 GHz 512 MB PowerPC G4, OS X 10.4.11 NeoOffice 3.0 Early Access 2 Patch 1 (using Java 1.5.0_16)

Thanks to James3359's tip, I can get NeoOffice to crash every time I try to print Paolo's document and and then not press any buttons in the native print dialog. After about 10 seconds, NeoOffice will crash.

What is interesting is that the crashing will occur whether or not I have the printer stopped so I don't think that is the cause and, instead, I think that this is a different bug.

I will investigate further and post a new test patch hopefully later today.

I think that I have fixed the latest crashing and now I can let the native print dialog be displayed for an infinite amount of time without any crashing. I have posted links to a test patch in my last post in bug 3429.

Can you install the test patch and tell us if the bug is fixed for you?
