Interesting writeup of Neo/J on Mac Night Owl today (Friday, September 17, 2004).

If you're reading this post today, you can see the item at http://macnightowl.com - the complete text is also in their archives at http://macnightowl.com/news/2004/09/week3.htm .

In general, a good review, although the author writes "you're dealing with an alpha version here" so perhaps he isn't aware that 0.8.4 is beyond that stage. And he shows himself not quite up-to-speed on Neo/J vs. Neo vs. OOo when he writes "If you're not prepared to take that voyage into an alternate reality [referring to Windows-like features such as Neo/J having its own menu bar], and would prefer a genuine Mac OS X interface, you'll have to wait for NeoOffice, which is the Aqua version of OpenOffice. When it'll arrive is anyone's guess, however."

Still, the article should attract some more folks to Neo/J, and that's definitely a good thing. Very Happy
