Hello
I work with OpenOffice.org 1.1 on Mac OS 10.3.5 with Apple's X11. I am not able to print from OpenOffice because I cannot setup the printer.
I can change the printer configuration in Start OpenOffice and print a test page, but when I leave the configuration program and start it again, all the new settings are lost again. I suppose I must have missing write permissions somewhere, but I could not find where. Any suggestions?
That's the file that holds the default printer settings like default page size as well as any custom printers. Also check to see if you have a local copy in ~/Library/Preferences/OpenOffice.org1.1.2/user/psprint. You may be able to copy the .conf file in there and have it override the one in the shared configuration directory, but I can't say I've tried that with firsthand experience.
