|
Hi, first post and i've done a search but can't find anything useful.
According to the help file you shift click to select more than one frame which is what i'd expect. It doesn't work though. How do I select several frames so I can link them? |

Perhaps you could try the command/apple key. That one is usually used for selecting discrete objects on a Mac..
Best wishes,

No, I don't think you are being silly. I gave this a try and none of the key combinations I tried worked. I changed where my frames were anchored, but I still had no luck grouping them.
I have some bad news, this same behavior occurs in all versions of OpenOffice.org from version 2.2.1 (which NeoOffice 2.2.5 is based on) through 3.0.1 (their latest version, which NeoOffice 3.0 is based on) so this is an OpenOffice.org bug and not a NeoOffice bug.
Unfortunately, our very limited funding and developer resources limits the current scope of the NeoOffice project to keeping a native version of OpenOffice.org running on Mac OS X and fixing OpenOffice.org bugs is outside that scope.
I searched and found that a bug has been filed in the OpenOffice.org issue tracker. The OpenOffice.org engineers felt this was an enhancement rather than a bug and have changed the issue type to enhancement. Unfortunately it has been open since 2002 with no signs of any work progressing on it, however, if Sun Microsystems' OpenOffice.org engineers implement the feature, the new behavior will get included in a future release of NeoOffice.
Here is a link to that issue where you can login and vote for it to be implemented:
http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=6249
Note: our advice is to not mention NeoOffice as mentioning NeoOffice may cause OOo volunteers to accidentally close it without actually reviewing your bug.
