I'm just wondering - once NeoOffice Mobile is fully implemented, will users/admins be able to turn it on/off in NeoOffice? I'm thinking about educational environments where people used to OpenOffice might be thrown by an extra item in the menubar, and/or get distracted playing with it (as I just have) .
I see the menu item is currently 'built-in' and not customisable through the Tools::Customise.
Sorry, but the answer is no. Once it is production, it will be like other previous add-ons and features that we added: all NeoOffice installations will have them. AFAIK, the OpenOffice.org code does not have any ability to dynamically suppress add-on menus which is why you see our Mac OS X grammar checker menus in the Tools :: Add-ons menu on Panther and Tiger.
If people really want to disable it, administrators that are deploying NeoOffice can use the same unopkg.bin command that they use to install shared extensions to uninstall NeoOffice Mobile as it is an extension like our other add-ons.
