The default font in NeoOffice for all documents in Times New Roman regardless of the language your are using. To change the language, select the Edit :: Select All menu to select all of the text in your document, and then change the font in the font list combobox.

After you do this, can you set the font to your installed Hebrew font?

I am not sure if I understand. Is your question how to enter text in Hebrew?

If that is your question, you need to set the Input Menu on your Mac to enter Hebrew characters. Can you try the following steps?:

1. Open the System Preferences application, click on the International icon.

2. Click on Input Menu tab in the dialog that opens.

3. Scroll down to "Hebrew" and check the box next to it.

4. Check the "Show Input Menu in Menubar" box if it is not already checked.

5. In NeoOffice select the NeoOffice :: Preferences menu.

6. In the dialog that opens click on the triangle beside Language Settings to expand it and select the Languages menu.

7. Check the box next to "Enabled for Complex Text Layout" and set the CTL Language to "Hebrew"

8. Press the OK button.

9. Go to the Input Menu in the Menu bar (the flag) and choose "Hebrew"

Try entering some text in NeoOffice. Is it in Hebrew?

Does that answer your question? If not, please give us some more information.

To add onto fran's steps, you do not need to install a Hebrew font or our Hebrew language pack to type Hebrew characters as Mac OS X bundles several Hebrew fonts.

Instead, what you need to do is change your keyboard configuration to a Hebrew keyboard using fran's steps. Doing this will allow you to enter Hebrew in any Mac OS X application, not just NeoOffice.
