Sorry for my bad English,

I made 6 tests…

First Neo 3 freeze, force to quit, relaunch

Second No problem, the file was saved…

3d Error message after 2 or 3 minutes… (I don't remember if I had to re login)

4th retry, Error message after 2 or 3 minutes…

Then I log off NeoOffice mobile, quit Neo, relaunch and login again

5th test… Error message after 2 or 3 minutes…

6th and last test File saved… no problem…

Can you install the following test patch and tell us if you still have problems uploading files out WiFi? In this test patch, I lengthened the network connection timeout to 60 seconds. Previously, it was only 15 seconds:

Intel:

http://joe.neooffice.org/test/NeoOffice-2.2.5-Patch-13-Test-4-Intel.dmg

hi_RAM,

Have you had a chance to try the latest test patch? If so, does it fix your Wi-fi problems?

That's what's so great (in a bad way) about haxies. NeoOffice may be excluded in your APE master list, but some haxies still manage to inject their code in NeoOffice, as shown in your crash log:

Code:

I think that the crashing you are seeing is a result of your Default Folder X system hack as in the NeoOffice Mobile code we call the Mac OS X file manager functions that Default Folder X tries to modify.

However, before you try disabling any system hacks, can you install the following test patch and tell us if the crashing still occurs?:

Intel:
http://joe.neooffice.org/test/NeoOffice-3.0-Patch-5-Test-7-Intel.dmg
http://joe.neooffice.org/test/NeoOffice-2.2.5-Patch-13-Test-6-Intel.dmg

With Neo3 PPC patch 5 test 6, even without DefaultFolder, crash…

With patch 7 without or with Default Folder no crash, but I have to wait the end of save to use Neo…

But on the iMac, I was not present when my sister had 2 crashes when trying to print (she never had crash with Neo, before patch 5 test 6) after modifying word documents (editing table, modifying polices…). I will try to post a crash log later

That is normal. When you press the Save button in the NeoOffice Mobile window, NeoOffice is doing three saves of the current document (ODF, PDF, and HTML) and NeoOffice's underlying OpenOffice.org does not allow any changes while saving.

Your sister's crash log indicates the crash is occurring in NeoOffice's underlying OpenOffice.org Writer code so I don't think that this is related to any NeoOffice Mobile changes as I never changed any Writer code for NeoOffice Mobile.

Instead, your sister's crash log indicates that shee has the following system hack installed on your machine. System hacks inject their code into all running applications and we have found that bugs in some system hack can cause applications like NeoOffice to crash in unexpected places in the code:

/Library/InputManagers/Cooliris
/Library/InputManagers/Inquisitor
/Library/InputManagers/Safari AdBlock
/Library/InputManagers/GrowlSafari

To disable these system hacks, move each of these folders to her Desktop and reboot. You can find these folders by double-clicking on the main volume icon on your desktop and, in the Finder window that appears, navigating down through the Library and InputManagers folders.

After you disable this system hack and reboot, does the crashing still occur? If so, can you attach a new crash log?

I removed the InputManagers folder…

If there is a new crash I will post the log
