Logic designers denote complement of a signal by using overline e.g. complement of B is 'B bar'. This is literally written as an "overline" over B.
Please add this feature to NeoOffice. I believe Open Office 3.1 already has this feature. |

The NeoOffice project has very limited resources, and ading a feature is beyond the scope of the project's resources. If the feature is available in OpenOffice.org 3.1, it will be incorporated into NeoOffice when NeoOffice moves to the OpenOffice.org 3.1 code base.
Shifting to the OpenOFfice.org 3.1 code base is not part of the development plans for 2009, so I'm not sure when that move will take place.

Moved to NeoOffice Support forum as the NeoOffice Development forum is not the appropriate place for feature requests.

?? Why not? At first glance, feature requests are more about development than support..
Best wishes,

Uh no. The development forum is for developers (and that includes icon designers) to discuss development and implementation issues of projects that are already being worked on.

There is a facility for doing this by choosing (in Writer) Insert::Object::Formula. This the brings up a formula window in which your formula can be composed, including overlines and other logic notation. It is then inserted as an object into the document. There is further information about this on the wiki and in Chapter 11 of the User Guide (link on the left of this page) though you should be aware that the Guide is based on version 2.x and there may be some changes for NO 3 |
