Hi, I am an old donor but a new Trinity registered member. I have used NeoOffice since I bought my MacBook in 2006. After I completed the Trinity registration process, I could not read the "Your info" page. All the labels in the column on the left-hand side were navy blue. Then I logged out and logged in again and miraculously it worked. I just logged out and logged in a second time, and it doesn't. Same problem. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

If you press the Shift key and press your web browser's Reload button, just the page render with the correct color?

This sounds like some part of the items on that page are failing to download which usually indicates that our server is under very heavy load. Since your post was roughly around the same time that our server got flooded with connections earlier today, I suspect that is what you were seeing.

Shift+reload doesn't help. Upon further exploration, I find:
1. Going through "donors" from either NeoOffice or Trinity webpage seems to get me to a "profile" page, which I have discovered is not the same format or information as the "Your Info" page. When I wrote to you before, I did not know that. I do not know how else to access the profile page.
2. I had thought that the left-hand column of the "For Info" page, the area that I had referred to as dark blue, was illegible completely, but it actually has text in it, in black, that is of course, quite hard to read. But I managed to see one question, "What is your fake email address? (And do you want people to see it?)"

So I seem to have confused Profile with Your Info. But having said that, it is nearly impossible to read the Your Info page, and even if I could, I wouldnt know how to answer some of the questions.

Lastly, I am curious about the fake email address. Why would someone want to give that rather than none at all and just a username?

Thanks again, Tory

I now see what you see. Unfortunately, this is a bad in the forum software package that we use. We did not write our own forum software as we barely have enough time to work on NeoOffice. Instead, we use an open source software package called "phpNuke" to run our forums so, unfortunately, this is not a bug that we are going to be able to fix.

I have no idea. This must be a feature in the phpNuke software. I think that most users leave this blank.

Although we cannot fix the Your Account page's bugs, I was able to add a link the Profile page in the Donors section so hopefully donors will find the right page easier.

Hope that helps,

Patrick

Can't blame you for using the open forumware! At least we were able to understand each other, a plus for a neophyte trinity user like me. The donor preferences link is super.

Thanks again. Tory
