To change the format of a single file, all you need to do choose "Save As" from the File menu and change the type listed in the "File type" popup menu.

As to performing batch conversions of multiple files in an automatic fashion, I am unaware of any default built-in batch conversion tool. You can, of course, write a macro that can help automate the process for you. OOo has a built-in StarBasic language for doing these types of things. You can find out more about OOo macro programming on the OOo site:

There's nothing Mac-specific about the macro language; documentation for one platform is generally applicable for all.

Here are a few macros some others have written to do just that:

1-BatchConv (There's an online version of this one at http://www.oooconv.de/engine/OOOconv.php so even folks without OOo can convert OOo files.)

2-Document Converter
