OOo released a native MySQL connector. They claim it is only for OOo 3.1 and later.

As I know NeoOffice bundles a few extensions, I thought it might bear mentioning here, though I do not know how many people would benefit from including it in NeoOffice (a subset of Base users, who are a subset of NeoOffice users).

Best wishes,
Oscar

When I saw your note, I thought I would add it to the wiki. But given it is 3.1 only, I'm guessing I shouldn't bother. It's still good to know about.

Did this ever get added to the wiki once Neo moved to 3.1? (Although, if the OOo extensions repo is gone, maybe it's not that useful at all.)

The OpenOffice.org extensions site still appears to be active and the native MySQL connector is here. However, the website was very flaky for me and I was not able to download it and determine if it installs and runs in NeoOffice.

I was not able to get the website to load at all yesterday, which is why I thought it was gone… (I still can't get it to load, after repeated attempts.)
