As this is the new forum for vacation notices:

I will be in London and Guildford (UK) for this weekend and the next week for a conference.

I don't recall if anyone of the regulars live around there, otherwise I'd be happy to meet for tea.

Best wishes,
Oscar

P.S. If the burglar who has been active in my appartment building is reading this and making plans: the most expensive item remaining will be my (pretty heavy) washing machine. Good luck Smile.

Dammo, just missed you - I was down in London last week. I hope you enjoy yourself (a hit-or-miss experience with conferences...)

A dancing man, huh? And there was me assuming the 'tango festival' was something sponsored by a sticky fizzy drink company Smile.

Researcher, dancer, martial artist, moderator. All these things and more.

But no fizzy drinks in this case Wink.

The world needs more of us renaissance men (or is that 'of we'? Smile). Enjoy the rest of your stay. If you have a sunny afternoon to spare, take a look at the Hill Garden in Hampstead - not at its best right now (in May all the azaleas are out in full force) but still a lovely place to retreat to when you've had enough city.

Thanks! I've had a lovely Sunday (despite the gloomy weather), and I may look into Hill Garden when I pass through London again next week.

Best wishes,
Oscar
